Our students'
examination results are consistently higher than the national mean average,
with one of our students topping the country with her Art History and
History marks in 2003.
We shine on the local stage too, where across a broad range of disciplines
our students constantly achieve the highest standards of attainment
in the Nelson region.

| Sports |
- Major sports participation - 28 netball, 5 basketball,
3 soccer, 2 rugby, 11 volleyball, and 4 touch teams participate in
local competitions. Rowing and Cross Country are very popular major sports for the school as well.
- Minor sports participation include: hockey, rugby, cricket, lawn bowls, rifle shooting,
kayaking, golf, equestrian, tennis, underwater hockey, sailing, skiing,
triathlon, mountain biking, rock climbing, martial arts, squash and ultimate frisbee.
