We understand that there are quite a few different fees to consider when becoming a Boarder so here is an overview of most of them.

Boarding Fees
| Boarding Application Fee - family who is resident in New Zealand. Paid with the application OR | $30.00 |
| Boarding Application Fee - family who is resident overseas but have New Zealand residency. Paid with the application | $200.00 |
| Clarice Johnstone House Acceptance Fee - paid when accepting an offer of a place | $500.00 |
| Boarding Fee for 2012 - payment details are in the Boarding Information Book | $10,150.00 |
In 2013 the Boarding Fees will be $10,800.
Other Costs
1 Day-To-Day Boarding House Account Expenses
Charged to the House Account, for such items as:
Taxis, faxes
Dry-cleaning
Boarding Orientation visits, day trips, concerts
Prescriptions
Accounts are posted or emailed at the beginning of the month for the previous month's expenses
2 Medical Accounts:
Doctor’s, optometrist and dental accounts are sent directly to the parent. The only exception is for those students from overseas with Medical Insurance.
3 School Related Expenses:
These are invoiced monthly and include school donation, subject fees and extras such as camps, sports and school trips.
Sports fees must be paid before participation can commence.

THE JAMES AND EVELYN GANE SCHOLARSHIP
This Scholarship may be available to a girl from a rural background who will be entering Nelson College for Girls as a new boarder next year. Details will be provided later in 2012
