NZQA Exam Fees

The New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NCEA) charges fees for school qualifications.  These fees are to be paid by the end of Term 2 to enable students to receive their results in the following January.  NZQA will not release results if student fees are not paid.

Years 11, 12, 13:  NCEA Levels 1, 2, 3

Financial Assistance for Exam Fees
  • The Government provides financial assistance to parents / caregivers who are beneficiaries or who meet hardship criteria and have a Community Services card.  Application forms are available in Term 2 from the Deputy Principal - Curriculum at Nelson College for Girls.
  • Some financial assistance may also be available through a Trust Fund at school.
  • Automatic payments can be set up to help budget the payment of NZQA fees.  Contact the Finance Office.

Sports Fees

All fees for sports activities have to be paid before participating in a sport or an event.  Contact the Sports Office about costs of individual sports.
