Tom Sturgess gifted a very generous capital sum to the College which is held on investment and the interest accrued annually is directed to programmes within the College to the benefit of staff and students. The conditions of this gift include the requirement to maintain the principal investment, and that the funds are not allocated to the development of property. Additional gifts to this fund are very welcome and assist the College to provide additional resources or financial support to the direct benefit of students.
Lois Voller left a bequest to the College for the specific benefit of the library. This fund is currently invested and additional donations are welcomed at any time. During 2008 we expended a significant portion of this fund to update the Library's management system. Current donations are rebuilding this fund for the future.
Judith Lenart gifted Bronte House to the College in 2002. This significant property gift allows us to provide this unique programme of two Integrated Learning classes, at Year 9 and Year 10.
All donations received through fundraising events and programmes are administered in this fund and are expended on the projects identified at any given time. The major focus of this fund was the development of the Health and Fitness Centre, which was opened by His Excellency the Governor General, The Honourable Anand Satyanand at the 125th Jubilee celebrations on 22 February 2008. The Jubilee Garden is a major landscaping focus around this site.
