At Nelson College for Girls, sport is a vital part in the holistic development of students. We believe that sport gives students endless opportunities to learn new skills, develop friendships, teamwork, tolerance of others, communication, determination, perseverance and to represent their school with PRIDE.
We're Out There!
The College is involved in many regional and national inter-school competitions and has an active calendar of sporting events for every season. We also make the most of community organisations where clubs already exist for various codes, enabling students to engage in an especially wide range of sporting pursuits.

There are different course options applicable to each year so it pays to look in the Curriculum Handbook to see what is available to you to study. Courses will only proceed when the required number of places are filled.
ROWING

The rowers were at the Maadi Cup and have had some excellent results:
- Gold in the U15 Double Skulls
- Silver in the U15 Quad Team Plus
