ATTENDANCE AND ENGAGEMENT SUPPORT WORKER

 Are you passionate about making a difference for young people?

We are looking for a warm, proactive, and highly organised person to lead the delivery of a new re-engagement programme supporting students with long-term attendance and engagement challenges.

This is a fixed term, part-time position (term time only), working Monday to Friday, for up to 35 hours per week which need to be worked between the hours of 8:30am – 4:30pm, for the 2026 school year as outlined in the job description.

You will work one-on-one and in small groups with ākonga who are currently disengaged from school. You’ll also be the key connector between whānau, teachers, external agencies, and the school – building strong, trusting relationships that support each student’s journey back into learning.

A current full driver’s licence is essential, as you may support students across a range of locations.
