TEACHER AIDE | KAIAWHINA 

This is an opportunity to join our team of talented and motivated teacher aides within the Learning Support area of Te Kura Tamawāhine o Whakatū, who are passionate and committed to making a difference for our students/ākonga. 

We have a fixed term, part-time role available for 25 hours per week during term time as outlined in the job description.

This role reports to the SENCO, Special Needs Learning Co-Ordinator, and we are seeking a positive, vibrant team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, who can relate to ākonga from various ethnic backgrounds and with varying needs, to join our supportive school team. 

You will need to have a resilient character, always maintaining a positive and happy disposition, and build strong relationships based on trust and respect with the students you support.

Remuneration will be paid in accordance with the Support Staff in Schools Collective Agreement, Teacher Aide Matrix, grade B/C.
