Most Promising Junior Sportswoman
Awarded for “General excellence in School Sport - Year 9”

SENIOR STUDENTS (YEAR 11-13) ELIGIBLE
The GF & HJ Thomas Cup is awarded to a Senior student (Year 11-13), who has demonstrated initiative and Leadership in Coaching.
Griffen Cup
Junior & Senior Students Eligible
The Griffen Cup recognises a student whose attitude, commitment, personality and character inspire others in the sporting environment.

Year 12 & 13 student eligible
Awarded for “General excellence in School Sport- Year 12-13. To be considered for “Senior Sportsgirl of the year”.
LG WHITE TROPHY
This trophy shall be awarded to a student or team, who has achieved “beyond expectation” in school-representative sports activities.
MARGARET MARFELL TROPHY
ALL STUDENTS OR TEAMS ELIGIBILE (YEAR 9-13)
The Margaret Marfell Trophy shall be awarded to a student or team to acknowledge “inspirational contribution to the sporting profile of Nelson College for Girls”
MARION COOMBS SHIELD
The Marion Coombs Shield is awarded to a team which has made the greatest commitment to team spirit.
MARTIN FAMILY CUP
YEAR 11 STUDENT ELIGIBLE
This cup is awarded to a Year 11 student who demonstrates high level performance in school sports and shows the potential to continue achieving at that level.
NIKKI WEBB TROPHY
JUNIOR STUDENT (YEAR 9 OR 10) ELIGIBLE
The Nikki Webb trophy shall be awarded to the Junior Maori Sports Girls who displays General excellence in School Sport.
OLD GIRLS’ ASSOCIATION ROSE BOWL
The Rose Bowl is awarded to a student in recognition of her sporting achievements at Regional, Island and National levels of competition.
REES CUP
YEAR 11 STUDENTS ELIGIBLE
The Rees Cup is awarded in recognition of the Most Improved All-rounder in School Sport.
LEANA Te OHAERE-FOX TROPHY
SENIOR STUDENTS (YEAR 11-13) ELIGIBLE
The Leana Te Ohaere-Fox Trophy shall be awarded to the Senior Maori Sports Girls who displays General Excellence in School Sport.
